The day combines basic progression and safety techniques, Climbing routes of varying difficulty and rappelling practice. We work with a system. top rope, in which the rope is anchored at the top: this is the method used to learn to climb.
There are two levels available, beginner and intermediate, and two sessions per day. The activity includes transportation from El Chaltén, all technical equipment, and a snack at the lodge.

The top-rope system allows anyone to climb a wall on their first day: the rope is already anchored at the top and the instructor belays from below, so a fall is only a few centimeters. What you learn are the techniques for progression, where to place your feet, and how to distribute your weight.
The Vizcacha Canyon
This is the climbing area of the ranch, with natural walls of varying heights and difficulties that allow for routes to be set up for every level. From there you can see the mountain range and the Fitz Roy, in a much quieter environment than the park's trails.
Where is Estancia Bonanza located?
It's located at Km 12 of Provincial Route 41, in the Río de las Vueltas Valley, about 11 km from El Chaltén. The meeting point for the transfer is Av. San Martín 48, and it's best to arrive 15 minutes before from the start time. Those arriving by car can go directly to the accommodation.
The activity It is cancelled due to rain.The wet rock is not safe for climbing. It is not suitable during pregnancy. Closed footwear—sports shoes or trekking shoes—, a windproof jacket, and long pants are mandatory: failure to comply may prevent participation.

No prior experience is required. Age: 8 to 65 years; those over 65 must have their own travel medical insurance. Not suitable during pregnancy. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory: sandals and open-toed shoes are not allowed. A windbreaker and long trousers are also mandatory.
