  El Chaltén does not have an airport.

  The nearest airport is Comandante Armando Tola, in El Calafate, about 220 km away. From there, access is always by land, via National Route 40 and Provincial Route 23. The journey takes about three hours, and it's worth keeping this in mind when planning your itinerary: the day of travel isn't enough time for a full excursion. The shuttle can pick you up directly at the airport: upon arrival, the coordinator will contact you via WhatsApp (the airport has free Wi-Fi) to arrange to meet at the designated passenger pick-up areas. This avoids confusion with other transfers and prevents delays in baggage claim.

  A direct trip

  The shuttle goes directly from El Calafate to El Chaltén, with no scheduled stops, so you arrive as quickly as possible and make the most of your day. A brief restroom stop is made only if the opportunity arises en route. You'll travel in a 15-passenger Sprinter van with luggage, featuring reclining seats, air conditioning and heating, ample luggage space, and onboard Wi-Fi (Starlink).

  • Requirements and restrictions

    To confirm your booking, we need the following information for each passenger: full name, date of birth, passport number, nationality, and gender. If the pick-up is at the airport, the booking must include the passenger's contact number. Pets are not currently allowed. Cancellations: free of charge up to 2 days before the transfer; within 2 days of the transfer, 100% of the total cost will be charged.

  • Recommendations

    If you're arriving by plane, choose a departure time that allows you some leeway after landing and baggage claim. To change your departure time on the same day, please notify us at least 2 hours before your original departure (subject to availability). If your flight is canceled or your itinerary changes, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. The service is punctual: if you're ready before your scheduled time, the vehicle will not arrive early.
